What are the 5 tools yall had written on the cards, to help with self regulating?

Great question! Let's see if I can remember them 😅

Happy: Give someone a hug, Dance, Ask someone if they want to play

Sad: Write/Draw why you're sad, Make tea, Ask for a hug, Cuddle

Angry: Kick/hit "the pillow" (we had a specific pillow in the room for this), Write/draw why you are angry and burn it (yes, I would literally let them burn the paper.) -- we would call on the spirit of water and fill a glass bowl, then call on the spirit of fire to help us transmute and heal the angry feelings and release them with love. I would light the end of the paper and then they would put it in the water. Needless to say, this one was chosen often.

Calm: Meditation, Listen to music in the headphones, Hold the rose quartz

Thank you so much for sharing! I have been experiencing extreme emotions recently and need to find a healthy outlet for them. I am beginning my healing journey and I believe it to be a bumpy road ahead so all the tools are greatly appreciated.
